In my senior year at the University of Kentucky, I had the opportunity to run a year-long self-guided thesis project. The fall semester was spent solely on researching my chosen topic (eating disorder development in college students), with the spring semester being the “design phase".” I recommend first seeing my Research Summary, which is also in my portfolio, to understand the background of my topic and where I identified design intervention to be needed most.

In this section, you’ll see how I designed In The Loop, a digital service designed for colleges to provide to their students to help them create structure in their new lives, get involved with other students and their university, and provide quick and easy access to resources to prevent detrimental effects on students’ eating behaviors.
